WASHINGTON, D.C.—On June 1, 2009, a day that will live on in berboopidy, Obama made good his "civil rights" promise as an executive to protect sexual deviants as a special class of "equals" under the law.

In his preamble, Obama explained that "LGBT Americans have made, and continue to make, great and lasting contributions that continue to strengthen the fabric of American society" and, "I am proud to be the first president to appoint openly LGBT candidates to Senate-confirmed positions in the first 100 days of an administration."

On the surface, this is not an important story. Frankly, it is an insult to our intelligence and sensibilities to be exposed to such a story. But, since the proclamation was made, the nation has been awash in what appears to be a choreographed wave of LGBT celebrations, media coverage of LGBT "history" and LGBT movement "leaders" are rushing to sell their issue as a topic of focused discussion in any venue that will tolerate them.

As the LBGT propaganda frenzy plays out this month, Obama awaits passage of S 909—the Senate version of HR 1913, the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009 (see story page 6). Called the "Pedophile Protection Act of 2009 by its detractors, HR 1913 was introduced April 2, 2009 and passed 249-175 April 29. The Senate is expected to pass S 909 before it adjourns for the summer. Obama will sign it immediately making a certain category of non-exclusively heterosexual homo sapien-sapien males and females a protected class under the law.

"If we can work together to advance the principles upon which our nation was founded, every American will benefit. During LGBT Pride Month, I call upon the LGBT community, the Congress, and the American people to work together to promote equal rights for all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity," the alleged president said.

President Clinton proclaimed Gay and Lesbian Pride Month on June 2, 2000. President Clinton’s proclamation was only for that year and did not include bisexuals and transgendered individuals. June is recognized by the LGBT community as LGBT pride month because the civil rights movement for sexual deviance was born when gays and lesbians stood up to police who raided the Stonewall Inn in New York City on June 6, 1969.

But presidential LGBT pride proclamations and acts of Congress protecting the LGBT lifestyle like a class of endangered species has nothing to do with justice or equality; it is executive, legislative and inevitably judicial collaboration to further institutionalize injustice by enforcing the politics of division. The LGBT community is being used to foment cultural warfare along the most perverse and sensibility-assaultive lines imaginable: The majority who yearn for a return to "traditional family values" v. a flamboyant minority with a legal license to publicly "celebrate" sexual deviance.

Division politics is the art of protecting one group with laws and punishing other groups who break them and it predictably increases rather than reduces friction between protected and unprotected classes giving government an excuse to grow.

This is the 145th edition of The IO. It is troubling that this development has written itself onto a page in our journal. But this is where we are: Sexual deviants and illegal aliens are protected by laws that make it illegal for moderate, working class Americans—who just want to live a decent life and have a safe place to raise their children—to complain about what is happening to their families and culture.
