This month's theme: Counter Propaganda

It is no secret to IO readers that our nation's leaders have escaped their constitutional straightjacket and are using a once-free people to do their dirty war work abroad while further enslaving them here at home.

But IO readers are only the choir -- an intelligent and dedicated minority willing to stand for the principles of freedom and self-reliance upon which our country was founded. Unless we, the choir, who traditionally sing to ourselves, are able to convince our countrymen to stop listening to the straightjacket-shirking crowd in Washington, D.C., our nation is doomed.

Each month stories that fill The IO pages are woven together with a common thread resulting in a “theme.” This month, because the choir no longer has the luxury of singing to itself as our nation teeters on the edge of a socio/political abyss, the theme is intentionally obvious: “Counter propaganda.”

Each article this month has been placed for one purpose: To logically, factually and truthfully counter propaganda-induced beliefs held by the majority of Americans.

Americans are being lied to on key issues so they may be manipulated into accepting or supporting what they would not accept or support if the truth were known. Tremendous energy and resources have been expended to brainwash Americans into believing war is peace, occupation is liberation, poison is medicine and, ultimately, wrong is right -- and our rights are wrong.

Billions of dollars are being spent around the clock, seven days a week, to perpetually pound lies and deceptions into Americans' brains so they are continually reinforced as truth. Obviously, it is of vital importance to the unsecured straightjacket crowd that key delusions be maintained in the minds of Americans. If we are to derail the unsecured straightjacket crowd's campaign for world dominance, it is imperative that those delusions be removed.

The Achilles heel of the unsecured straightjacket crowd-led global corporate elite's intentions to reduce all common people to the status of third-world slaves is the collective American mind -- and they know it. They are fearfully aware that there are 290,000,000 of us and only a handful of them; they can only continue their campaign for control of the world's resources (including people) so long as their lies and deceits continue to collectively control our minds.

Conversely, if we can break the propaganda-induced spell under which the majority of Americans obediently defend the whiteness of black; if the majority suddenly realize their spellbindedness has been used to systematically destroy their nation, they can, in an instant, turn on the unsecured straightjacket crowd. Sheer numbers could pull this nation back from the eve of its destruction.

We know the unsecured straightjacket crowd must have America's collective cooperation or their plans will fail and they will go to jail. So, our path becomes brilliantly illuminated: We break the spell; we prove that war is not peace, that sickness is not health, that occupation is not liberation, that poison is not medicine, that fear is not courage, black is not white -- and that our rights are right.

We believe this edition of The IO can be effectively used to help break the spell. We are offering them in bundles of 50 for $25 -- essentially at cost. We need your help. If you believe these 24 pages can help break the spell among those in your community, order a bundle and pass them around.

Our own lives, the lives of our children and grandchildren hang in the balance of what happens in the next few months. (DWH)

Congregatio de Propagandas Fide

According to both Webster's and the American Heritage dictionaries, origins of the word “propaganda” are attributed to Pope Gregory XV when he founded the Roman Congregation of Propaganda (Congregatio de Propagandas Fide) in 1622.

The Congregation of Propaganda, one of several bureaus within the “Roman Curia” was charged with “propagating the faith.”

It is believed Pope Gregory organized his propaganda ministry to recover flocks and assets the Catholic Church lost to the Protestants during the Reformation. The Congregation of Propaganda continued its work after the reformation era by “preaching the gospel and....establishing the Church in non-Christian countries and....administering Church missions in territories where there is no properly organized hierarchy.” ~American Heritage Dictionary, 1969

In modern times the term “propaganda” has been expanded to include any mechanism whereby one is compelled to behave in a prescribed manner. “The systematic effort to manipulate other people's beliefs, attitudes, or actions by means of various symbols -- words, gestures, banners, monuments, music, clothing, insignia, and so forth.” ~Encyclopaedia Britannica, 1979

Counter propaganda

No dictionary references to the term “counterpropaganda” were found (although “Counter Reformation [the process which gave birth to the Congregation of Propaganda] was found in the American Heritage Dictionary).

So we will take this as an opportunity to define the term ourselves. “Counterpropaganda is the systematic effort to reverse the attitudes and beliefs of people who have fallen prey to perverse suggestions found in various symbols -- words, gestures, banners, monuments, music, clothing, insignia, and so forth.”
