From the September 2000 Idaho Observer:

Pennsylvania Millennium Protest

Rep. Pitts ignorant of UN “conspiracy”

Another pastor, my wife and I were the only ones who showed up at PA Congressman Joseph Pitts' office in Lancaster, PA on Wednesday, September 6, 2000, to discuss the Millenium Assembly at the UN.

Rep. Pitts' aide said he believed the Congressman, who was in D.C. at the time, would not support any legislation for the withdrawal of the U.S. from the UN. He did say the Congressman is watching with caution the activities of the UN. He also said the Congressman doesn't believe there is a conspiracy to take over the U.S., but that he would not allow the U.S. to give over its sovereignty to any one world government.

(Put a frog in a cold tub of water and crank up the heat slowly, and he'll never know what's happening until he's cooked.)

Rep. Pitts' ignorance of the UN and its true intentions seems to be a common thread that links the pro-global governance legislators who represent Americans on Capitol Hill. Without the help of the dominant media, informed people will have to educate the U.S. Congress themselves.
